Hi ! I’m Erin, proud mom to Altyn, and the face behind Sleepy Hollow Rentals/Moonrise Cottage!
In my past I worked as a Law Enforcement Park Ranger with the NPS, working in Death Valley, Glacier, Canyonlands, Zion, and Saguaro National Parks. I currently work remotely for a school in AZ and part time in a small, local real estate brokerage. I am passionate about the outdoors, enjoying nature and hiking. Some of my other passions include Rugby (played for 18 years), knitting & crochet, dogs, real estate and traveling.
Originally from Tucson, AZ my family and I moved to Colorado almost 10 years ago. Living in CO has been a dream come true - the mountains are my absolute favorite!
As with so many, Covid put a lot of things into perspective for me, I decided it was time to focus more on making a living doing what I love. I also wanted to work on building generational wealth for my son. Deciding to open a short term rental (Airbnb/VRBO) seemed like a great way to check all these boxes.
Finding, setting up and self managing a short term rental has been no easy feat but I have truly enjoyed every aspect of doing it. I have learned I can do hard, scary things and am hoping to do it all again (stay tuned)!
Being able to provide a special place for families, friends and loved ones to reconnect and make new memories has been the absolute best reward.
